Frequently, what is not recorded in the logbooks is most important.

What Counts

Maintenance.. Maintenance accounts for not only a major portion of the cost of ownership, but the overall value of an aircraft. An aircraft with up to date, verifiable maintenance records will be worth considerably more than one with a questionable history. An aircraft with a damage history will have less value than one with a clean history. Alliance AvSources appraisal process fairly and objectively assesses the value of an aircraft’s maintenance history as well as any damage history.

What is an Engine Worth?.. An engine is the most critical part of an aircraft. Time since overhaul inspections are an important part of considering the value of an aircraft. Our appraisal process carefully
considers overhaul costs and maintenance status to assess an engine’s contribution to the value of an aircraft.

Avionics.. There are thousands of avionics types, manufacturers and model combinations and, they differ widely in value. It is not uncommon for the value of avionics from one aircraft to another to differ by $100,000 or more. Failure to carefully consider the avionics would be a major error when assessing the value of an aircraft. Our proprietary computer database includes virtually every avionics system ever made and installed.

Airframe, Paint and Interior.. The
airframe's maintenance history as well as the condition of the aircraft’s paint and interior all have an important impact - not only on the aircraft’s appearance, but it’s value when compared with other aircraft of the same type. Again, the Alliance AvSources appraisal system does this objectively and fairly.
