The Process
Certified
Appraisal.. An Alliance AvSources Certified Appraisal
begins with a thorough examination of the exterior
and interior of the aircraft with special
attention given to the condition of the airframe,
engines, paint, avionics and instruments.
Modifications, as well as signs of damage are
documented. The logbooks and records are carefully
reviewed because these document the historical care
(or lack of) that was given to the aircraft.
Frequently, what is not recorded is especially
important - such as missing inspections, missing
pages and undocumented modifications. Based upon the
results of the examination, we then prepare a
written appraisal report which includes the
specifics of the examination, digital photo images
of the aircraft and a certified appraisal
certificate stating the current market value of the
aircraft.

Market
Analysis.. An Alliance AvSources Market Analysis,
commonly referred to as a desktop appraisal,
computes the value of an aircraft based on
information that has been provided by the client.
Once the information is compiled and analyzed, the
report - which includes the aircraft’s “general”
market value is generated. Although useful in many cases,
the market analysis report is not certified and
cannot be used to obtain financing or for tax or
legal purposes.

Pre-Purchase Aircraft Inspection.. Buyers of aircraft
find pre-purchase inspections
useful by determining
the airworthiness and general condition of the
aircraft
they wish to acquire. The Alliance AvSources
inspection process is accomplished on site and
includes a comprehensive examination of the aircraft
and it's records as well as a complete ground
functional check and if desired, a flight
performance check. Depending on the aircraft type, a
thorough compression check or boro scope examination
can also be performed on the engine(s) and apu by
our licensed, PAMA member engineers.
